I hope that all of you were fortunate as I was to be with family & friends throughout this past holiday season. However, As my friend Ozzy Osbourne has said to me many times, there’s no rest for the wicked.
I played my first show of 2011 last night in Monroe, WA, & that was the first of 5 shows for this month featuring the birth of the one man band. Yes, I am now the single embodiment of The Last to Know. Those of you in Washington who are new to the list have already witnessed this transformation, but for my extended family throughout the country I’ll be posting some live video soon on my YouTube site Luke Sayers’ Direct Connection. If you’ve got a YouTube account, please subscribe to my channel and further our online relationship.
Here’s the rest of the upcoming dates:

The Skylark Café , West Seattle
Sunday, Jan. 16th 9 pm – 12 am: FREE show @

Though I’ve moved around a lot in the last 3 years, you can continue to support the music by downloading songs from the Music page of my site www.lukesayers.com as well as ordering CDs & T shirts. There’s been no shortage of new tunes which live audiences are continuing to ask for on a CD, but that can’t happen without your help through the music sales and by spreading the word to your friends. You can still get a FREE download of my new song Moonlight from my site as a special thank you to everyone who has been with me this past decade.
Lastly, the book I’m in titled Their Love of Music in which "photographer Steve Azzato captures the essence of the creative spirit in the faces and words of the musicians themselves" has been getting rave reviews. The book includes music legends Dave Brubeck, Aaron Neville, Buddy Guy, Rosanne Cash, as well as more recent stalwarts Ingrid Michaelson, Kelly Joe Phelps, Madeleine Peyroux, and Shawn Colvin. I may have the possibility of getting my hands on some copies for a special discounted rate. So, if you haven’t already picked it up and are interested just send a reply to this email. The portraits are beautiful, and the quotes are insightful to say the least. You can actually preview the whole book online through this PREVIEW link, and see for yourself just what an amazing collection of artists they've assembled.
Thanks for your continued support, and have a great weekend!
Peace,
Luke
